A brand quiz can turn product information or a story into an exploration task. Choose what the audience needs to understand, then write evidence-based questions and explanations that make the interaction useful.
Choose a small set of messages
Decide what people should understand: a product’s use, a service process or a problem the brand addresses. Select points with clues that can be found in the scene rather than converting the entire company presentation into a test. Base every answer on approved public information and preserve the limits of product claims.
Keep evidence close to the question
Show the relevant information before asking about its application. Do not make visitors guess an answer known only to the production team. Keep the prompt concise and choices distinct. When an answer depends on conditions, state them in the scenario instead of using ambiguity to make the quiz more difficult.
Make feedback informative
Explain the important distinction after an incorrect answer and offer a route back to the clue or another attempt. A correct answer also deserves a reason, not just a green tick. Have the brand approve statements about performance, warranties and restrictions so the learning remains accurate throughout the interaction.
Connect completion to a useful action
Choose a main next step such as viewing a product, downloading information or discussing a requirement. If contact data is requested, explain its purpose and ask only for what is necessary. Visitors can also finish before deciding whether to contact the brand. Game completion should not be treated as blanket marketing consent.
Review copy and interaction separately
The brand reviews questions, answers, terminology and translations; the team tests selection, retries, progress and the completion page. Describe a web quiz alongside a scene accurately. Coordinate-based tasks or automatic detection of a visitor’s location inside the viewer require separate platform-interface and development confirmation.
A quick commissioning checklist
- Does each answer have approved supporting information?
- Can visitors understand an incorrect answer and continue?
- Does completion offer a relevant next action?
